drive: With large files it is often more effective to download the document on to your hard drive before viewing: If you have a PC, place the mouse pointer over the link. Check the link name as it appears in your browser. Right click. Select "Save target as". Select the right location on your drive, and press "save". If you have an Apple / Mac, well... I don't know.
