1 can chickpeas (400g) mostly drained
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons tahini
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1-2 cloves of garlic, crushed
Mash the chickpeas, perhaps with a stick blender or potato masher.
Add the other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Add salt according to taste.
To serve, sprinkle with paprika and a light drizzle of olive oil.
Good with fresh vegetables, crackers or as a sandwich spread.
