Ngaire Phillips: BSc.; MSc (Hons); PhD.
Currently a principal consultant with NIWA Australia, Dr Ngaire Phillips is an aquatic ecologist and environmental scientist. She has experience in freshwater, estuarine and marine environments. She has worked as a researcher, consultant and in the Queensland and New Zealand governments. She has particular expertise in the following areas: conservation of rivers, impacts of mining on aquatic environments (including excotoxicology) and the impacts of water infrastructure developments on aquatic environments.  She is the author of a number of papers on these topics.
